Introducing B2B Partners: Everything Your B2B Partner Workflow Needs In One Platform

The business problem

For most travel companies, the B2B channel – travel advisors and agency partners who bring their clients to you and resell your product – is one of the most valuable sources of revenue. It’s also one of the messiest to run.

Requests come in over email. Quotes get built in spreadsheets or duplicated from old offers. Nobody has a single view of which partner is working on what, how much commission they’re owed, or whether a quote was ever actually sent. And when it’s time to reconcile payouts at the end of the month, someone is digging through inboxes to figure out who sold what.

None of this is a problem partners caused, it’s simply that the tools travel companies have been using were never built for a proper B2B sales motion. As partner networks grow, that manual overhead grows right along with them, and it starts costing real time and real margin.

That’s the gap we built B2B Partners to close.

What B2B Partners is

B2B Partners is a new module inside TripMatrix that gives users a dedicated system for managing partner relationships from first request to final payout, without leaving the platform you already use to build your trip offers.

In short: your partner requests a quote, you build the offer exactly as you normally would, and the whole relationship – commission, branding, currency, payouts – is tracked automatically in the background. No separate tool, no duplicate data entry.

Your partner network, in one directory

Every advisor or agency partner you work with gets its own profile page, so your whole network lives in one place instead of scattered inboxes and contact lists. A partner profile brings together:

  • Details – type (e.g. Travel Advisor), brand, company, VAT number, currency, and website
  • Configuration – the commercial terms for that partner: source of branding, payment collection model, and commission rate
  • Address – the partner’s registered business address
  • Agents – every individual contact at that agency, with name, email, department and phone
  • Trips – a live list of every request/offer tied to that partner, with agent, start date, commission, selling price and status
  • Payouts – the payout history specific to that partner
  • Logo – used wherever co-branding applies

Adding a new partner takes seconds: enter the agency details (brand, company, type) and the primary agent’s contact info, and they’re ready to receive offers.

Building an offer for a partner

When a partner asks for a quote, you create a Trip Request exactly as usual. The only difference is selecting the relevant B2B Partner from the dropdown when setting it up. From there, the offer is built the same way any TripMatrix offer is: itinerary, hotels, tours, experiences, descriptions, images, and what’s included or not included in the price.

The B2B Partner context stays visible throughout – which agency the offer belongs to, the agent’s contact details, dates, duration, traveler count, and validity period – across the same familiar tabs: Details, Travelers, Itinerary, Planner, Pricing, Payments and Settings.

Configuration: branding, currency, and how payment gets collected

Because every partner relationship is a little different, each offer can be configured on top of the partner’s defaults:

  • Source of branding – choose how the offer is presented to the traveler: Partner-branded (the Partner’s brand and agent are presented to the traveler), co-branded with your Agency Agent (both brands are presented, with your agency’s agent as the traveler-facing contact), or co-branded with the Partner Agent (both brands are presented, with the B2B Partner’s agent as the traveler-facing contact). This means the experience always matches how each partner wants to present themselves to their own clients.
  • Currency and preferred language – set per offer for international partners
  • Supported payment methods (e.g. Repayd, Stripe)
  • Client-facing trip presentation – controls how the itinerary looks once it reaches the traveler
  • Payment collection model –
    • Collected by Agency – The traveler reviews the offer in the Traveler Portal, accepts and books the trip, and pays your agency directly, through TripMatrix. TripMatrix keeps payment status and the partner’s commission tracked.
    • Collected by Partner – You provide the partner with the agreed net offer price. The partner defines the final sales price and collects payment from the traveler outside TripMatrix. Your agency collects the full agreed net amount from the B2B partner.

Pricing follows the same logic: every item in the offer carries its own net price, margin percentage and calculated selling price, alongside offer-level settings for margin, service fees, and rounding rules, so you always know your net price, markup, and total selling price before anything goes out the door.

From your desk to the traveler’s inbox

Once the offer is ready, the partner receives a link. No PDF exports, no manual attachments. They can fine-tune traveler details (names, ages) if needed, then forward that same link straight to their client.

The end client lands on a polished, branded trip page: day-by-day itinerary with images, agent contact details, offer number and expiry date, and selling price. What happens next depends on the payment collection model: with Collected by Agency, the traveler can review the offer, accept it, complete the booking, and pay through the Traveler Portal; with Collected by Partner, the Traveler Portal is used to present the trip and itinerary, while acceptance, booking, and payment are handled by the B2B Partner outside TripMatrix. All with no extra work required from either the partner or your team.

Payouts, finally centralized

The Payouts view under B2B Partners rolls everything up: total sales, total commission and total trips across your whole partner network, filterable by completed or pending status and searchable by partner. Instead of reconstructing this at month-end from scattered records, it’s simply there.

Why this matters

  • Efficiency – one workflow for direct and B2B offers, no duplicate tools or manual re-keying
  • Transparency – a clear commercial record for every partner: commission, activity, and payout status
  • Professionalism – a branded, consistent client experience that reflects well on both the partner and you
  • Scalability – growing your partner network no longer means growing your admin overhead in lockstep

B2B Partners is available now inside TripMatrix. If you already work with travel partners – or you’ve been wanting to but the operational lift held you back – this is built for exactly that.
