Do I need to download and install anything to use TripMatrix?

No, you don’t need to download or install anything. TripMatrix is a cloud-based platform (SaaS). We typically start with a demo call, and if you’re interested we’ll create an account for you. You can access your account from any device with a modern web browser, and your data is automatically backed up and protected.

Do you offer training and support?

Yes, we offer private training sessions to help you get started and you can always contact us via email if you need support.

 

Is there a limit to the number of users/employees accounts I can have?

No, there’s no limit to the number of team members you can have on the same booking platform.

 

Is TripMatrix software secure?

Yes, TripMatrix software is secure. Our platform uses the latest security measures to ensure that your data is protected, including encryption, firewalls, and regular security audits. We are also compliant with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, giving you peace of mind that your data is secure and handled in a responsible manner.

We ensure secure transactions by using 128-bit SSL encryption to encode the data we transmit, keeping it confidential. Our servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a provider that is compliant with PCI DSS Level 1 and offers certified infrastructure for storing, processing, and transmitting credit card information.

Can I access TripMatrix without an internet connection?

No, an internet connection is required to access the TripMatrix platform. If you are disconnected or experience interruption in your internet service, please wait until your connection is stable before resuming.

Can I use my custom domain for Web Booking Engine?

Yes, TripMatrix allows you to use the domain that you own. You just need to add a CNAME record in your domain provider DNS settings.

Do I need a payment gateway?

To accept credit card payments, you will need a payment gateway. Currently we are integrated with Stripe. Payment gateways are secure platforms that enable businesses to authorize customers’ card details and transfer the confirmed amount of money to the merchant’s bank account. They also enable refunds in the event of cancellations or disputes. However, it is also possible to accept bank transfers as a payment method. In such cases, you will need to manually enter these payments into the system once received.

Is TripMatrix available in other languages?

At the moment, TripMatrix is only available in English. However, a multi-language option is in our plan in the near future. For now you can use web browsers, such as Google Chrome, that offer automatic translation services if you prefer to view in another language while working on our platform.

What are the minimum system requirements for using TripMatrix?

Since we’re a cloud-based platform, TripMatrix works on any device with a modern web browser. We recommend using Google Chrome, but the latest versions of Firefox and Safari will work too.

How long is the contract with TripMatrix?

The contract duration is one year and it will be automatically renewed each year. It can be terminated by either party at any time. Typically, there are no monthly or yearly subscriptions, and TripMatrix only charges commission once the booking process is complete.

Do I have control over payment and cancellation terms of bookings?

Yes, you have full control. Our software offers complete flexibility in terms of payment and cancelation options. You can set your payment and cancellation terms for each product, package and offer or follow the system recommended terms which are dynamically calculated based on each item.

Does the TripMatrix platform have multiple currencies options?

Currently, you can choose between two base currencies that are USD ($) and EUR (€). But a multi-currency option will be available in the near future.

How much does it cost to start using TripMatrix?

Starting is completely free, and TripMatrix only charges a 2% commission on completed bookings. If you have a payment gateway integrated with TripMatrix, we’ll also charge a 0.5% fee for payment processing.

What if I don’t have my own website?

If you don’t have a website, TripMatrix got you covered. Our platform offers a pre-designed web booking engine that can be easily customizable to be consistent with your branding. Simply set up your profile, publish your products and receive online bookings.
